LibreGuard publishes plan limits so you can choose the right option before creating an account. The main differences are the number of active devices, available locations, and supported VPN protocols.
Free plan
The Free plan includes:
- One active device
- 5 GB of data per month by default
- Access to published Free locations
- IKEv2/IPSec access
- Private DNS over the VPN connection
Pro plan
The Pro plan includes:
- Up to three active devices
- Access to published Pro locations
- OpenVPN and IKEv2/IPSec access where available
- Private DNS over the VPN connection
- Optional DNS-based ad blocking and filtering
- A private account option without an email address
Pro costs $5.99 per month or $29.99 per year. The yearly option is billed as one annual payment.
OpenVPN and IKEv2/IPSec
Both OpenVPN and IKEv2/IPSec create an encrypted connection between your device and a VPN server. They are different protocols with different setup and connection behavior. Free access uses IKEv2/IPSec; Pro adds OpenVPN where it is available.
Choose Free if one device, 5 GB per month, and IKEv2/IPSec meet your needs. Choose Pro if you need more devices, Pro locations, or OpenVPN access. See Pricing, published locations, and Support for the details before signup.
